Postcards From The Past is a biography series on past Brandon personalities that is currently being produced by local independent producer Graham Street.  This documentary style series will feature the likes of Thomas L. Rosser, Kaye Rowe, Jade Choy, Fred Brown, Eleanor Kidd, J.D McGregor and James Kircaldy.  Principal photography began for the series at the beginning of July and shooting locations include many of the heritage sites and museums in the City of Brandon and surrounding area.

This is not the first series independent producer Graham Street has produced for MTS Manitoba On Demand, last summer he produced a series on a selection of iconic buildings from the City of Brandon’s past.  This series is called Time Tourist.  For subscribers of the MTS TV service Time Tourist can be viewed via video on demand.  Brandon buildings and heritage sites such as The Daly House Museum, the old McKenzie Seeds building, Brandon’s first Court house and goal, The Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum, Brandon College and the old Fire Hall, were the series main focus.

Graham is also producing a ‘Making of’ website to accompany Postcards From The Past and this can be viewed at www.timetoursit.ca.  This website features photography and social media updates of how the series is being made.

Graham is also a faculty member at Assiniboine Community College and teaches in the Interactive Media Arts program.
