Arrival At the Royal Bath House

Entrance Sign

Entrance to the upper levels and up to a balcony.
The doors are very low, and one must bend over to enter.
This way, the individual is "forced" to bow to the sultan when he enters to seek audience.

.

Views from the balcony.

Lush Trees with Many Avocados

We walked through the Palace grounds on our way to the main pool area
.

These are swimming pools used by the Sultan's family and mistresses.
The women are gifts from difference "provinces" as a means of a show of loyalty to the Sultan.
The mistresses, when called, must go naked to the pools, wearing only a number.
The doors are locked against other prying eyes.
The Sultan sits in the tower and checks out the women,
calls her number and she's then the chosen one, for the night or...

We posed at the pools.
We weren't issued a number and
didn't know if the Sultan was even watching from above.

.

.

.Tired of waiting for the Sultan's call
we climbed to his private bedroom chambers.

The "special bed" where dreams come true?! LOL!
