Wilbur and Orville Wright
were the first pilots flew the first successful manned
flights at Kitty Hawk, NC, in Dec 1903. Orville Wright was the pilot
of the first flight in history where a passenger, Lt. Thomas
Selfridge, died on Sept. 17, 1908.
