There are over 40 major casinos in Macau -- the biggest is The Venetian Macao. We have no interest in gambling but we since the Emperor Palace was close to other places on our tour and since we had limited time in the "Gamling Capital of the World" this was logical port of call. The UK-flavoured entrance with a royal carriage out front and two beefeater-dressed guardsmen at the door provided unique touch. The many gold bars embedded in the floor of the lobby also provided a real touch of elegance.

The casino's gaming space features 365 gaming machines and thirty-four table games. The property has four restaurants and a hotel with 300 rooms.
