We attended the annual Kite Festival near Kerry's house.
It involved flying beautiful kites at the end of the harvest season.
There were a multitude of home-made kites

The Kite Festival/Competition takes place over several
rice fields.

Kids are having a grand time running about, chasing each other, and
teasing Sue-On.
Walking on the ridges that separate the fields.
These are covered with bags that the seeds came in,
then covered again with dirt.

Several of the handlers have cuts on the hands.
The strings are so tight you can hear them whistling in the air.
