Once we got to the Mudumali forest and animal sanctuary, the ride was rough and jerky because of the many speed bumps. Parking is "punishable," as is feeding the animals. We really didn’t see many wild animals along the way -- there were herds of spotted deer, some elephants down in the water hole (a bull elephant was actually chained), a few peacocks, and an unusual black and white monkey.

After arriving at the Blue Valley Resort we were assigned our rustic cabin and strolled to the dining shed.
